Los Angeles Nightlife Recommendations

Hollywood CLUBS

Days

  • Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays – are best and most packed days with general public
  • Most celebrities go out during the week.
  • You can go out every night in Hollywood. There’s always something going on.

$$

  • Clubs can get expensive (around $20 for cover if not on guest list and especially if you go late)

Guest List

  • Make sure to check the club’s website to put your name on the guest list (up until 6pm or 8pm the day of)
  • Try to meet or get a promoter’s contact information
  • If you get bottle service, it ranges from 1 bottle = $100-$300 (not including tip) per group of 7-10 people and reserved space, guest list line entry into the club, and no cover. They might have you arrive by a certain time
  • Call clubs ahead of time if you want to rent out a section or the entire club (you might have to reach a food and beverage minimum, rental space fee, etc)

Time

  • Typically VERY LONG lines
  • Get there before 10:30pm at latest or try to get there even by 10pm or 9:30pm

Dress Code

  • nice (black shoes and collared shirt for guys, no hats, athletic wear, sneakers, or casual clothes. Dark jeans are okay)
  • Most women get very dressed up in “sexy dresses”, high heels, very formal (compared to other countries) (it’s almost like you are in Las Vegas)
